Poland
We're off to Poland and the capital - Warsaw. Again, this is a fairly long day but finally in the late afternoon, we roll into Warsaw and the final hotel of our tour - the Marriott Grand. Dinner is at the hotel that night and Colin and Lorraine, our travelling companions from Melbourne, generously shout everyone drinks. They've been great people to travel with all trip along with all the others.
Next morning it's a tour of Wilanow Palace.
After the morning tour of Wilanow Palace, in the afternoon we do the team photograph in the central garden and then the obligatory city tour.
Our last diner is the so-called Celebration Dinner at a local restaurant and this effectively marks the end of what has been a truly memorable tour.
After breakfast the next morning people start their transfers to the airport and Anne and I head off to the railway station to embark on the next part of our journey - the train to Krakow in south western Poland and the start of a new adventure.
Another Insight Vacations trip has come and gone and with it a journey of over 4800 kilometres and 700 sea miles. We will take many memories away from this trip and we have made some fantastic friends. Can't wait to catch up with new found acquaintances in the future and to start planning our next trip away.
